What You Get

Three phases. One outcome.

Velo Code isn't a random weighted-ball routine — it's a full 6-week velocity build with arm care, throwing schedule, and CNS work all locked in.

01 · Prep

Arm foundation.

Weeks 1–2 rebuild throwing capacity, arm care, mobility, and CNS baseline. No max-effort until the arm is ready.

02 · Build

Velocity push.

Weeks 3–4 stack Driveline weighted balls, pull-downs, plyocare, and aggressive strength. The block where the mph starts to climb.

03 · Peak

Convert & test.

Weeks 5–6 taper the volume, spike the intensity, test velocity. Bring the peak into competition-ready shape.

Who This Is For

Is Velo Code right for you?

Built for you if:

  • You want to add real mph to your throwing velocity — pitcher or position player
  • You have consistent throwing access + a partner or net
  • You're 15+ with at least a couple years of throwing history
  • You have gym access + a Driveline weighted-ball set (or willing to invest)
  • You're between seasons or in a proper off-season block
6-Week Breakdown

How the program actually runs.

Weeks 1–2

Prep Phase

4 throwing days, 3 lift days. Long toss, arm care, mobility. Rebuild throwing capacity. No max intent yet — this is the ramp.

Weeks 3–4

Build Phase

4 throwing days, 3 lift days. Driveline weighted-ball protocol, pull-downs, plyocare. Aggressive velo work — the block where mph climbs.

Weeks 5–6

Peak Phase

3 throwing days, 3 lift days. Tapered volume, high intent, testing days. Peak-ready output for spring.

FAQ

Common questions.

How much velo will I add?

Most athletes who commit to the full 6 weeks add 2–5 mph — pitchers on the fastball, position players on their throws across the diamond. Individual results vary based on age, training history, throwing mechanics, and recovery.

Is this safe?

Yes when followed as programmed. Arm-care work, mobility, and a progressive loading model are built in from day one. That said, if you feel arm pain, stop and see a PT.

What equipment do I need?

Driveline weighted-ball set (2–32 oz), gym access, and a consistent throwing partner or net. Plus mobility bands and a med ball.

Can I run this in-season?

No. This is an off-season / winter program. Running it in-season would compound throwing volume dangerously. Save it for the 3–4 month window between seasons.

Do I need to keep pitching bullpens?

Only if you're in a fall league on a team schedule. Otherwise, no — the throwing protocol IS your throwing during these 6 weeks.

How is this different from Elite Exit Velocity?

EEV builds swing-side power — bat speed and exit velo. Velo Code builds throwing velocity for any player, pitcher or position player. Different movements, different loading, different outcome.
